RLP AgroScience GmbH and SGS announce partnership
RLP AgroScience is pleased to announce a partnership with SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and Certification Company.
This partnership enables RLP AgroScience, located in Germany, to expand its customer base for chemicals, biocides, veterinary drugs and pharmaceuticals. Likewise, RLP AgroScience complements the existing service portfolio of SGS in the area of good laboratory practice (GLP) contract research with 14C metabolism and environmental studies.
The environmental chemistry department of RLP AgroScience has been GLP certified since 1990 and has been contributing with 14C-labeled pesticides to their risk assessment within the area of environmental behaviour, metabolism and residue analysis. RLP AgroScience also conducts studies within unique outdoor wind tunnels for the quantification of volatilization-related deposition, as well as the option of using radioactive labelled substances under outdoor and greenhouse conditions.
"The partnership with SGS gives RLP AgroScience the possibility to expand our markets and win new customers with our comprehensive services. The joint competence and capacity for cold residue analysis at SGS also enables us to enlarge projects and thus to provide our customers the best support in product development." said Roland Kubiak, Managing Director of RLP AgroScience - Environmental Research.
Olivier Coppey, EVP of SGS Agriculture, Food & Life said: "This partnership corresponds to our strategy in being able to offer innovative solutions to the market in the area of agriculture, food and pharmaceuticals, and to support product safety assessment.
